Tom's challah board designs draw on Israeli ornamental tradition: pomegranate mosaics (a symbol of abundance and the Seven Species), Hamsa motifs for blessing and protection, Jerusalem skylines, and Hebrew calligraphy of "Shabbat Shalom" and the Hamotzi blessing.
